If you would like to ignore or mute another community member, follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Preferences

Click on your avatar icon at the top right corner, click on the person icon at the bottom of the sidebar, and finally, click Preferences.

Step 2: Navigate to Users

On the second menu row, click on Users.

Step 3: Decide to Mute or Ignore

From here, you have a decision to make. You can either Mute a user or Ignore them completely. Below, we explain what each action does.

  • Mute User: This option suppresses all notifications, personal messages, and chat direct messages from these users. Use this option if you don't want to interact directly with the other member.

  • Ignore User: This option suppresses all posts, messages, notifications, personal messages, and chat direct messages from these users. Use it when you don't want to see anything from the other user.

Step 4: Use the Interface

Once you've decided which action you wish to take, use the provided interface to search for and select the user you wish to mute or ignore.

Step 5: Save Your New Preferences

Don't forget to save your preferences once you are done adding people to your mute or ignore list.
